What is "The Sedan Chair Rally"?

The Rally is a weekend camp for Explorer Scout units, Scout Network Units, Ranger Guides and Sea Rangers. Included in the weekend are activities, team competitions, the Disco and; of course, the Race.

The Rally has been going, in various forms since 1966, during most of its life it was aimed at Venture Scouts. It has been running with the current committee since 1993.

Who Can Participate?

Teams members who are 14 to 25 can compete in the race and sports. Teams entered into competitions of mixed Explorer Scout and Scout Network members will compete as Network teams.

In accordance with Scout Association guidelines, anyone over 18 on site must have the appropriate CRB checks

When is the Rally?

The Rally runs from Friday 26th to Sunday 28th October 2012

You can arrive when ever you wish after 17:00 Friday, except with prior agreement (how to contact us). If you plan to arrive after 22:30 Friday please let us know.
